The Volunteer Coordinator is a volunteer, who helps to organize, coordinate, and communicate with volunteers (individuals & groups). The role includes aspects of recruitment, identifying projects, maintaining schedules, appreciation events/ideas, and more!
If you have photography skills and can help take photos/video at events, this will be helpful, especially to help us get more content for social media and the website.
Some of our Council Programs have areas in which volunteers would be helpful.
(Motel to Home, Car Repair, Christmas Toy Shop, Young Vincentians, Advocacy, & More!)
There are several events throughout the year, and volunteers help make them run smoothly!
(Friends of the Poor Walk, Living & Caring as a Vincentian, & Night of Hope)
Our St. Vincent de Paul Richmond Thrift Stores are always taking volunteers, and there are many opportunities to help!
Volunteering with St. Vincent de Paul is a great way to grow as a team or staff. Reach out, to learn more about team building opportunities.
Is your company interested in hosting a donation drive or packing event? SVdP would love to partner, to host events to pack Motel to Home Move-In Kits, Prison Re-Entry Backpacks, and more.
If you or your company can be a resource for hosting career development workshops, job skill training, or other related events, please reach out.
