motel to home program

What is it?

Often, our neighbors in need will find shelter in an extended stay motel. They are working and can afford the rent, but they are unable to save for a deposit for a true home of their own. This program helps with a deposit and other move in costs while providing in depth case management for 1 year to help those we serve.

Get Involved

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, to meet with Motel to Home applicants, including monthly follow-up meetings, please reach out to us.

Motel to Home Application

A family (individual, couple, family) must first work with their local St. Vincent de Paul Conference. The case worker will determine if the family might be qualified for the program and provide them the application.
